Having dedicated fourteen years to her work as a primary teacher and curriculum leader in London, Angie now works as consultant specialising in equality, diversity and inclusion alongside her role as a senior lecturer in education.
Utilising her wealth of experience in the UK education sector along with theoretical knowledge, she has offered her expertise to organisations such as Save The Children, BESEA.n, and the Department for Education. She continues to contribute to improving the education experiences of pupils through her current roles as a senior lecturer in Education and Initial Teacher Education at London South Bank University and Consultant System Leader for Hackney’s Diverse Curriculum for primary and secondary schools.
At LSBU, she teaches across undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications in education, with a focus on anti-racism. Currently she is the leader for Foundation Subjects in Primary Educations for the Primary PGCE and teaches on the Mathematics and Science modules. For BA Education, she teaches on modules such as Anti Racism In Education and Equality, Culture & Citizenship.
